The ELA technology standard that I chose was for grades 3-5. More specifically, the first standard which is "Communication and Collaboration". As a teacher, I do feel prepared to implement this into my teaching as of right now. This is due to my prior experience working with people and knowing what works and what doesn't in collaborative settings, as well as how I work with the younger demographic. 

The subject I chose was Theatre. This specific toolkit had 23 items in it. I believe the resources can be used in my teaching in many ways. I'm a strong believer that the arts are very beneficial on all fronts for children K-8th grade. It has been proven to boost confidence, speaking and leadership skills, as well as support their creative sides and be more social. I can incorporate theatrical elements in many ways such as icebreakers, videos, and group projects. 

Internet searching is something that is extremely necessary and everyone should know how to do it as a teacher. This is because you have to tech your students how to do things and if you don't know how then no one benefits. after learning about internet searchi8ng this week, I believe that I will use the advanced searching when looking for pdf's of things. This can help me find worksheets, study guides, or homework examples online for class. I'm not sure if there was an internet skill not introduced this week since I'm not really a techy person.
